Chrome extension privacy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
The UGC Chart Chrome extension is made by UGC Chart LLC, a Wyoming company ("UGC Chart", "we"), which runs ugcchart.com. It is not made by Trybe and is not part of Trybe.
The short version
- The extension reads only one thing from Trybe's page: the creator ID in each creator's picture link.
- It sends those IDs to ugcchart.com, and only to ugcchart.com, to get our weekly data back.
- It never sends anything else from the page. It never talks to Trybe's systems. It never clicks or does anything on Trybe for you.
What we collect
When you are not signed in
- Creator IDs of the creators on the Trybe Discovery page you are looking at. We use them to look up our weekly data. Our server also sees your IP address, like any website does, and uses it to count free daily lookups.
- Category name, only if you turn on the Growing count bar. If you picked a category on the page, like "Skin Care", and it matches one of ours, we send that name so we can say how many creators are growing in it.
When you sign in (free, with your work email)
- You sign in on ugcchart.com. The site gives the extension a one-time code that works for 2 minutes. The extension trades it for a sign-in key. The extension stores only that key, not your email or a password.
- Your notes, follows and shortlists, which you add yourself.
- Seen creators: when you keep a creator open on Trybe for 3 seconds or more, we save that you saw them, so we can mark them for you later.
- How many lookups you use each day, to apply the daily limit.
Stored on your computer (in Chrome's extension storage)
- Your settings (Growing only, Growing count bar).
- Your sign-in key, until you click Disconnect.
- A copy of our data for each creator for up to 1 hour, cleared when you close Chrome.
What we never collect
- Creator names, photos, videos, sales numbers, messages or anything else shown on Trybe's page.
- Your Trybe login, your brand's data, or anything from your Trybe account.
- Pages you visit outside Trybe's Discovery page. The extension does not run anywhere else, except our own connect page on ugcchart.com.
- Your browsing history.
How we use it
Only to run the extension: show UGC Chart data, save your notes, follows and shortlists, and apply daily limits. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for ads. We do not share it, except with the companies that host our site and database for us.
Your choices
- Click Disconnect in the extension's pop-up to stop sending your sign-in key.
- You can clear a note, unfollow a creator, or take a creator off a shortlist in the extension.
- To delete your whole account, go to your account page and use Delete my account (you type "delete" to say yes). This deletes your account, notes, follows, shortlists, keys and invites right away, and the extension goes back to the free view.
- Remove the extension at any time from chrome://extensions.
